WestLAN Data Networks is happy to announce the completion of a large scale Data Cabling project for a new biotech facility in Shannon, Co.Clare. The new Shannon site will enable MeiraGTx to accelerate the development and delivery of gene therapy treatments to patients.
The site contains three different facilities. One facility was built to be flexible and scalable for viral vector production for clinical and commercial supply. Another facility is dedicated to the manufacturing of plasmid DNA, which is the critical starting material for producing gene therapy products. There is also a quality control hub performing advanced biochemical quality control testing for MeiraGTx’s clinical and commercial programmes.

WestLAN have completed the IT Structured Cabling contract for the new Takeda Pharmaceutical facility in Grange Castle, Dublin.

The €40 million investment of a new standalone, high-containment production facility dedicated to manufacturing its oncology product NINLARO® for global markets.
WestLANs installation team managed and installed a Brandrex Leviton CAT6A UTP and Single Mode Fibre Optic cabling system for the IT Network, BMS and Security System.

WestLAN completed the IT Structured Cabling contract for US biopharmaceuticals firm Regeneron. The € 350m investment in its Limerick industrial operations and product supply (IOPS) bioprocessing campus will bring the total number of jobs at Regeneron to 500 jobs by the end of 2017.
